Computers and computer applications have a profound impact on our lives and have entered nearly every aspect of each profession, service and industry. Therefore, the possibilities and opportunities for research in computers, digital technologies and advanced computer applications is immense particularly in the frontier areas of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Robotics, Quantum Computing, Blockchain Technology to name a few.

Digital and computer technologies have consistently made mundane and computing tasks easier and have become user-friendly, ensuring quality with efficiency. Research and development in this field is expected to accelerate exponentially, and to keep pace with the latest development as well as to provide a platform to publish recent findings, the Department of Computer Applications, GITS, is publishing its quarterly journal to highlight research in the frontier areas of computer applications and industries oriented outcome in this field.

I invite professors, researchers, faculty and students to support this endeavour by contributing quality papers on any theme as suggested. We assure you that the papers published herein shall adhere to the tenets of transparency, inclusiveness, content integrity, ethics and usability. I also congratulate the editorial team on accomplishing this milestone and wish them success in this new endeavour.

I am sure this Geetanjali Journal of Computer Applications (GJCA) will explore new possibilities of creating awareness in the field of computer application and collaboration among different stakeholders associated with this task.
